A 24-year-old woman was charged with breaching her house arrest following a speeding complaint in Shearstown late last week.

Bay Roberts RCMP received a complaint about a vehicle speeding through Shearstown around 9:00 p.m. last Thursday evening.

Patrol officers located the vehicle and driver and confirmed that the woman was serving a term of house arrest.

The accused was released to appear at a later date.
