A new seasonal attraction is now open in the heart of Quidi Vidi Village.
It’s called The Wharf. The sectioned-off piece of property features food trucks and numerous picnic tables. As well, there’s an adults-only section where Landwash Brewery has set up shop.
There’s also an entertainment component to the site. Owner Killick Capital has partnered with Business and Arts NL, and says local artists will showcase their talents regularly at the site.
Killick Capital President Mark Dobbin says the arts are very important.
He says a mobile kiosk will be set up where artists can display their works. He believes such a feature gives a “visual lift” and a “buzz” to the environment.
