A man from Howley is facing a list of charges after drugs and weapons were seized in the community earlier this week.

RCMP from the Deer Lake and Corner Brook detachments seized approximately $25,000 dollars in cash, drugs, contraband cigarettes, and five firearms from a home on Third Avenue on Tuesday.

RCMP say the accused is scheduled to appear in court in October on charges of trafficking in cocaine and oxycodone as well as unsafe storage of firearms and charges related to the possession of contraband tobacco.

The investigation continues.
