A ceremony was held today at a park in Paradise in memory of a little boy who was taken too soon.
The playground on Reardon Avenue has been named “Noah’s Place” in memory of Noah Zaja. Noah was just four years old when he was killed in a tragic accident in July of last year.
Mayor Dan Bobbett hopes that families who visit the park find joy and think fondly of the little boy who left a lasting legacy.
Noah’s Place includes playground equipment, a ball hockey court, benches, picnic tables, and space for open play.
The town unveiled a new sign and reflection heart, which were built specifically for the dedication. It’s an area made of natural stone for visitors to reflect and enjoy the view of Conception Bay.
A dedication plaque prepared by the family reads, “Noah was a little boy with a big heart and a huge love of life. He leaves a legacy of kindness and love.”
