A week after the metro region was buried under about 60 cm of snow, some community mailboxes remain inaccessible.
Canada Post says February’s snowfall has proven to be a challenge, not only for municipal snowclearing crews, but for their carriers as well.
The corporation is reporting “significant progess” in clearing out community mailboxes.
The Crown corporation is attempting delivery in all areas, but says some challenges remain in areas like Kenmount Terrace, the centre city area and Cowan Heights.
They hope to have those areas addressed as quickly as possible.
