A well-known local musician has been reunited with a beloved instrument.
D’Arcy Broderick, who leaves his 1982 Takamine F360S guitar on the stage at Broderick’s Pub when he’s not performing was surprised when the instrument was nowhere to be found when he returned to the stage on Tuesday.
His daughter Caitlyn immediately got the word out, offering a $500 dollar reward and 20 dozen beer to whoever returned the guitar to the pub, no questions asked.
Caitlyn posted to Facebook on Friday thanking the “good and honest Samaritans at the Gathering Place” while posting a picture of D’Arcy happily holding the guitar in his hand. She says the reward will be honoured.
