Public Health has issued an advisory as part of their ongoing investigation into a case in the Eastern Health region. Anyone who visited Sobey’s on Ropewalk lane on Sunday, August 29, between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. is asked to contact 811 to arrange for testing.
Those who were in the store at that time and are experiencing symptoms are required to isolated until 24 hours after their symptoms resolve and they receive a negative test result. Those who are not experiencing symptoms are not required to isolate but should monitor for symptoms.
The National Microbiology Laboratory says the most recent wastewater test for Paradise was negative.
Public Health says it gives further confidence that the risk to area residents is low.
They still encourage residents in the area who have a symptom to get tested.
