Police officers descended on a home in Conception Bay South last night to apprehend a man suspected of two armed robberies at service stations in the town earlier in the day.
The RNC nabbed the 30-year-old at about 9:30 p.m. and charged him with two counts of robbery, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breach of court orders. He was held at the Lockup for court today.
Meanwhile, during that operation, the RNC also checked further into another 30-year-old man who was at the scene and found that he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for public mischief as well as breaches. He was also held for court this morning.
