The Opposition Health Critic says an eight-month wait time for major health surgery is unacceptable.
Paul Dinn says he’s been hearing from constituents concerns about long wait times for important surgeries.
One person told Dinn that their father was told in January that he needed major heart surgery, but it wasn’t until this past week that the family got a date.
Eight months waiting for major heart surgery is too long says Dinn, and the unfortunate part is that those kinds of delays are all too common.
He calls it the latest example of a healthcare system “pushed to its limits.”
