An unusual municipal election race has developed in the town of Gambo.

At the close of the nomination period, four people had come forward for council. That means all four are now acclaimed.

Residents of Gambo will still get to vote for mayor on municipal election day however, with two candidates running for mayor—Darren Dyke and Craig Lush.

Gambo is just one of a number of municipalities across the province that could not field a full slate for council.
