Police say a fire that destroyed a car and a piece of heavy equipment at an impound yard in North River was arson.
Bay Roberts RCMP received a report of a fire at Mahoney’s Towing in the early morning hours of Friday, September 3.
The fire, which started in a vehicle parked at the impound yard spread to a tractor and outbuilding, was knocked down by the local fire department.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
