At least three adults have been displaced by a fire that damaged three apartments in an addition at the back of a two-storey house in Corner Brook. The fire broke out yesterday.
Canadian Red Cross volunteers arranged emergency lodging and financial aid for purchases for things like meals and clothing for all three including a woman in her 80s.
Homeowners in the main part of the house, which was not as heavily damaged, did not require support from the Red Cross.
