The search for two missing fishermen off the coast of Labrador has been called off.
According to the RCMP, all search efforts have been “exhausted” with over 9,400 square nautical miles covered over a 10 day period.
Marc Freeman Russell, Joey Jenkins and their vessel the Island Lady have not been found.
All known areas of interest or abnormality have been searched with a variety of specialized equipment.
The RCMP says that although the search has been called off, the file remains active as a missing persons case. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mary’s Harbour RCMP.
