A recount is taking place in the Town of Paradise today.

The town received a request for a recount in the municipal election held on Tuesday.

Mayor Dan Bobbett was acclaimed—leaving a battle for the six at-large councillors. Because of that, the recount will involve all candidates who ran in the town.

Just six votes separated the sixth place candidate from the seventh place candidate.

The results will be released once the count is complete.
