The details surrounding the province’s Vaccine Passports will be unveiled in a media briefing scheduled for Thursday.

The province last week announced how the passports will work from a technical standpoint.

The Premier’s Office tells VOCM News that it is giving consideration to requiring vaccine passports to attend worship services.

In a statement, the Premier says he was in conversation on Monday with a number of religious leaders representing a variety of faith communities in the province. Part of the discussion focused on the importance of getting the COVID vaccine, and the implementation of a vaccine passport.

Details about the briefing will be issued Wednesday.
