Memorial University will be handing out three honorary doctorates at its first in-person convocation ceremonies since the start of the pandemic.
MUN announced last month that convocation ceremonies would go ahead in-person for graduates of the 2021 summer semester.
This year’s recipients of honorary doctorates are mental health administration leader Louise Bradley, Newfoundland Swilers Rugby Club founder Dr. Noel Browne, and musician and music teacher Kelly Russel.
Recipients are chosen by the Senate, MUN’s academic governing body.
