The capital city’s Animal Care and Adoption Centre has received another significant donation that will help with the veterinary costs to help make 29 adult cats ready for new homes.
Starting today, adoption fees that include spaying and neutering, vet exams, vaccination, microchipping and pet insurance will be fully covered by the same anonymous benefactor who provided a similar donation last year.
The city says its animal shelter has been at capacity for a few weeks.
Visits to the shelter are by appointment only and an adoption questionnaire must be filled in ahead of time.
