A new Angus Reid survey shows that half of Canadian parents asked are ready to vaccinate their children as soon as possible.
It’s hoped that vaccines for children ages 5 to 11 will be approved in the next few months.
According to the latest data from the Angus Reid Institute, while half of parents say they plan to vaccinate their elementary school-aged children as soon as the vaccine is available, nearly one-quarter say they will not.
The greatest opposition to vaccinating kids is in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Quebec at nearly 30 per cent.
The number is 15 per cent in Atlantic Canada, Ontario and BC.
