The PC Opposition says Justice Minister John Hogan must not squander an opportunity to make meaningful change at the RNC.
Justice critic Helen Conway Ottenheimer says she’s pleased the workplace review of the force has, quote, finally been announced, but wants assurances it will be done right.
She says it must be a fully transparent process so the public can understand exactly what issues are being considered, adding that includes public release of the terms of reference.
Hogan announced the review yesterday, adding it was partly prompted by mounting allegations of sexual assault against several officers.
Conway Ottenheimer wonders whether the work will look at those allegations, adding that the final report should also be made public.
