Funeral arrangements have been announced for Lee Shinkle, who passed away Tuesday at the age of 70.
Shinkle, a well-known business leader and pioneer in the province’s oil and gas industry, was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gherig’s Disease, in 2018.
Visitation will take place this evening and again tomorrow at Carnell’s Funeral Home.
The funeral service is by invitation only.
Shinkle leaves to mourn his wife, four children, nine grandchildren and a large circle of family, friends, and caregivers.
Donations in his memory can be made to the ALS Society.
