RCMP are investigating a significant theft early Wednesday morning from the Canada Post location in Traytown on the Eastport Peninsula.
Police say the suspect or suspects forced their way into a side door of the building.
Stolen items include approximately $1000 dollars worth of stamps, an unknown amount of mail, and a small cash float from the till.
RCMP say it appears as though the suspect(s) likely left the scene heading in the direction of Cull’s Harbour.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Glovertown RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
