COVID-19 has claimed another victim in the province.

The man, who was over the age of 70, was in the Central Newfoundland region.

He is the 16th person in the province to die after contracting COVID-19.

Meanwhile, 20 new confirmed cases are being reported in the province today.

Sixteen are in the Eastern Health region, three are in Central and one is in the Western Health region.

The number of confirmed cases connected to the Marystown cluster has grown to 74.

That brings the total number of active cases in the province to 101, including one person in hospital.
