He’s calling it “Open Line for the Undead.”

Folklorist and storyteller Dale Jarvis is taking to the airwaves on VOCM this weekend and opening the lines to callers to share their stories of ghosts and hauntings in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Jarvis has been collecting ghosts stories and haunted tales from across the province for years and has compiled them in a series of books including Haunted Ground, Haunted Waters and Wonderful Strange.

He says spooky tales have fascinated him his entire life. The stories Jarvis enjoys the most are ones that are “a little bit out of the ordinary” and kind of creepy.
