The Tely 10 returned on Sunday for the first time since the pandemic hit, and even though it was held in much cooler temperatures this year the man and woman leading the pack embraced the change.
Colin Fewer had the fastest time for the men, while Kate Bazeley came in first for the women.
Typically the annual road race would be held in July, but the pandemic forced the race to be pushed back to the fall this year.
Both Fewer and Bazeley embraced the cooler weather, with both stating that it makes for better running conditions.
Such races have been curtailed by the pandemic, but now that many are up and running again, Bazeley is taking full advantage and competing in as many races as she can.
