Two COVID-19 cases have been identified in metro area schools.
According to memos sent out by the English School District, a positive case has been identified at O’Donel High School and another at Mary Queen of the World Elementary, both located in Mount Pearl.
Both schools will be open for in-class instruction tomorrow for all students, except those who have been told to isolate by Public Health.
Students who do not receive a notification by 6 p.m. on Sunday are not considered to be a close contact.
