Radiation treatment is now available to cancer patients as the province works to get healthcare IT systems back online.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information has confirmed that radiation oncology systems are now functional.
Radiation patients are being contacted directly to have their appointment scheduled. Appointments will continue to be booked into next week. Chemotherapy treatments are continuing as they have since November 4, but cancer screening is still unavailable.
