The initiative provides members of the Canadian Armed Forces, both past and present, with the gift of a colourful hand-made quilt.
Quilter Bev McLean, who is originally from Stephenville, decided to get involved with the program when she accidently came upon it online while searching for quilting projects.
Quilts of Valour Canada have been providing comfort to our injured Canadian Armed Forces Members past and present through the gift of a handmade quilt.

Local veteran and a Newfoundland and Labrador representative with Quilts of Valour, Simon MacInnis calls the presentation of quilts a rewarding experience. He fondly remembers the quilt he received from a church group in Bonne Bay.
