Western Health is making COVID-19 booster shots available to a number of individuals.
Boosters are available to adults living in long-term care or congregate living and those 70 years of age and older.
Individuals who have only received two doses of AstraZeneca, or one dose of Janssen vaccine are also eligible, as well as those who identify as Indigenous or live in an Indigenous community can also get the booster.
Finally, frontline health-care workers who have in-person contact with patients, and were vaccinated with an interval of less than 28 days are also eligible.
