Downtown Comics is celebrating Free Comic Book Day today.
Free Comic Book Day is the biggest event in the comic book industry every year, where speciality shops in North America give away free comics to any and all.
The day is founded on the belief that there’s the right comic book out there for every person.
This year’s selection includes free volumes of major titles such as Spider-Man, Venom, the Avengers, the X-Men, Stranger Things, and Dog Man.
Downtown Comics on Duckworth Street in St. John’s kicks off their event at 11:00 a.m. today.
Comics are limited to three per person.
