A curler from this province is bringing home a bronze medal from the World Junior Curling Championships.
Joel Krats, who is from Labrador, and the rest of Team Purcell represented Canada at the event, defeating Norway 13-4 to claim the bronze medal.
Team Gushue congratulated the team on their win via Twitter, saying the resilience they showed to battle back from an 0-2 start was “incredible to watch.”
