The Long Pond Marine Base and Blue Water Group have entered into a new partnership to support the offshore energy industry.

According to a joint news release from the two companies, the partnership will offer “a complete solution for the industry” in one location.

They say everything needed to meet operational requirements will be offered in one location including fuel, water, drilling fluids, storage and emergency services.

They say the port itself is located in an expansive sheltered bay, designed for efficient operations, resulting in less standby time, reduced operating risk, and lower carbon emissions.

Jim House, General Manager of the Long Pond Marine Base, says the two have worked together for many years and the new partnership will bring their services to the next level. As well, he says as the industry evolves they will be able to tailor their growth to meet those needs.
