Local actor, comedian, and activist Greg Malone has been invited to speak to the congregation of Trinity United Church in Botwood during its 4th Annual Pride Sunday event June 5.
Malone spoke passionately on VOCM Open Line with Paddy Daly a few months ago on the topic of homosexuality and the Church. Malone told VOCM Open Line a mural will be unveiled at that time and he’s been invited to speak.
He wants to speak to Christians about how to help lesbian, gay, transgender and bisexual youth who have been persecuted by Christians who have misread and misinterpreted the Bible.
