Visitor restrictions are in place at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre.

Central Health says the move is due to the presence of COVID-19 cases or symptoms in the Harbour Breton facility.

Patients are limited to one designated visitor per person. Palliative care visitations will be determined on an individual basis.

Emergency department services and scheduled outpatient appointments are not affected.

There is no word on when restrictions will be lifted.
