NAPE is growing increasingly concerned about the safety of its members encountering a sudden rise in violent thefts from NLC Liquor Stores.
NLC this week revealed that it is making major changes in their stores to stem the criminal tide and protect the safety of workers, some of whom have been physically and verbally threatened.
NAPE represents the employees at NLC Liquor Stores, and President Jerry Earle says he’s pleased that the employer is taking the matter seriously.
Earle says the union is working with the employer, Human Resources and Occupational Health and Safety to help ensure the safety of staff and the general public.
