Search efforts took place yesterday involving Ground Search and Rescue, provincial air services, the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre and searchers from the community.
According to police, more volunteers for the search effort are not needed at this time as it may hamper the effort if volunteer safety becomes a concern.
However, they are asking cabin owners in the area of Portugal Cove South to check any trail cams for video that may yield clues.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Holyrood RCMP at 709-229-3892.
