The provincial government says they have had a productive couple of days looking at learning loss for high school graduates heading into post secondary.
The provincial government recently held a “learning loss symposium” with various stakeholders to look at the issue.
Education Minister Tom Osborne says they’ve spent time looking at the strengths of the various institutions, the measures they’ve put in place, and the best practices moving forward.
He says they put measures in place to deal with emotional, mental health, and academic issues, and the symposium gives them a chance to look at what the others are doing, and potentially adopt and expand on those ideas.
