RCMP have issued an unusual advisory following posts to various Facebook community groups warning of two suspicious and dangerous characters.
RCMP NL says it has received reports of the posts warning of two dangerous men in the area. The posts even go on to suggest that the men attacked a woman with a knife. RCMP say they have not received any reports to substantiate the claims in the posts.
It appears as though similar posts have been made on social media in other Canadian jurisdictions.
