A by-election is underway in Marystown today.
The byelection has been called to fill a single vacancy on council.
Three candidates are in the running, Jessie Miller, Gary Myles and Arthur Saunders. Four polling stations have been set up throughout town, at the Salvation Army Citadel, the Little Bay Heritage Centre, the Heritage Baptist Church, and the Summer Games Building.
Polls are open until 8:00 this evening.
