A 26-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court to answer to impaired driving charges after a pickup truck struck a parked SUV and a house in Gander Wednesday night.
Police say the pickup left the road and struck the home and SUV that was parked in the driveway. The damage was extensive.
The driver, who showed signs of impairment, provided breath samples that were one and a half times the legal limit.
The truck was impounded and the man’s licence was suspended.
