The provincial government has announced a number of appointments and reappointments to the Wilderness and Ecological Reserves Advisory Council, or WERAC.

Reappointed to the council are Joseph Brazil, Dr. Evan Edinger, Stanley Oliver, Thomas Philpott, and Graham Wood.

Newly appointed members include Mary Alliston Butt, Tony Chubbs, Annalee Hynes, Toni Kearney, Carolyn Lavers, and Erin Pearson.

The volunteer group helps to provide advice to government on establishing and managing the province’s wilderness and ecological reserves.
