A new townhouse development is being considered by the City of St. John’s.
Nidus Development has submitted an application for the project at 188 New Pennywell Rd.
The company is proposing four townhouse clusters that would include between 10 and 13 single-level units each, for a total of 40 to 52 townhouses.
Such a development is not allowed under the current zoning, with city staff noting a rezoning would be required to allow the project to proceed.
Next steps include a land use report and public meeting.
