The Bishop’s Falls Lions Club is opening for those stuck at the Bay d’Espoir turnoff.
The Grand Falls-Windsor, Bishop’s Falls, and Botwood Lions Clubs are all pitching in to provide a rest stop for those stranded due to the closure. Sandwiches and water will be provided.
The club will be open from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., but District Governor Shane Budgell says they’ll stay open as long as needed.
