A student who has been at odds with the hierarchy at Memorial University is going to be the subject of a film to be released this time next year.
Matt Barter, an autistic student who was once restricted from campus except to attend classes, has been on the other side of the university for years over everything from the use of protest posters to compensation for top management including President Vianne Timmons.
The film, by author and filmmaker Kenneth J. Harvey, will feature interviews with Memorial students, faculty and members of administration.
