Police caught a man breaking into a business in the capital city early this morning.
Shortly before 1:00 a.m., an alarm was sounded at a business in the centre city area of St. John’s. An officer arrived and located a man, who had broken in, leaving with stolen items.
He was also found to have other items that had been stolen from vehicles at an earlier time.
The 46-year-old man was arrested and charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property, and breaches of a court order.
The man was sent to the lockup for court in the morning.
