The Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador is opening a new exhibit in celebration of a milestone anniversary.
The Council is celebrating 50 years of highlighting artists and promoting crafting at higher levels of production.
To mark the anniversary, an exhibit including 50 different artworks from 50 artists will be opening at a gallery at 155 Water Street in St. John’s.
Premier Andrew Furey, Mayor Danny Breen, as well as Lieutenant Governor Judy Foote will be in attendance for the grand opening at 2:30 p.m. on September 29.
A second exhibit will be opening up at The Rooms on October 1 and will be open for the remainder of 2022.
