Burin Peninsula RCMP arrested a 57-year-old Burin man for impaired driving after breath samples came back four times the legal limit.
Police responded to a report of an intoxicated man who drove to a local business on the main road in Burin Thursday afternoon.
Officers arrived at the business and located the driver who showed signs of intoxication.
The man was arrested and brought to the detachment where he provided samples that were tour times the legal limit.
His vehicle was seized and impounded and his licence was suspended.
He was released to appear in court at a later date on charges of impaired driving.
