The capital city will not be marking the Queen’s funeral on Monday with a day off.
The province has declared Monday, September 19 as an official day of mourning. All federal and provincial government offices will be closed for the day.
All city facilities will be open on Monday and city council will hold its regular council meeting.
The city says it is observing the day of remembrance for Queen Elizabeth II in other ways, including a book of condolence at City Hall.
