Canada’s Men’s Softball Team is heading to the gold medal game in New Zealand thanks to efforts from a number of players from this province.
Canada defeated Cuba 2-0 with Sean Cleary of Harbour Main holding down a perfect game until the final batter.

St. John’s natives Shane Boland and Jason Hill scored both runs for the team.
Team Canada will face Australia in the gold medal game tonight at 11:30 p.m. island time.
