Thirty-seven-year-old Justin Jennings was taken into custody following a police operation in CBS yesterday that resulted in warnings for area residents to shelter in place.

Police were called to the area of Petten’s Road around 10:45 Tuesday morning and found a man injured outside a home.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries. Multiple resources were sent to the area including patrol, the tactics and rescue unit and police dog services.

Around 12:20 RNC located and arrested Justin Jennings outside the same residence. He’s been charged with assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, choking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failure to comply with a release order.

Police are asking for possible surveillance or dashcam footage from the area to help in their investigation.
