Residents of Corner Brook are being advised of a road closure in the city this afternoon.
A portion of Wellington Street from the intersection of Pioneer Street to Citadel Street will be closed from noon until 10:00 p.m.
The closure is due to the Western Sno Riders’ Snow Pitch event at the Basha Memorial Softball Field.
The dog park and outdoor rink will also be closed.
Residents are also reminded that a city approved fireworks show will take place sometime between 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
